Travel Campaign : Research

I love this poster image. As with the other "See America" posters, the image is simple and the colors are few. I especially love the image in the corner of the man on the horse, seemingly seeing America for himself, setting an example for what the poster is asking the viewer to do. The positive and negative space show depth and the color variations help with that also. The depth created gives the viewer a snapshot of grand the mountains in Montana must be. There is evident fore-, middle- and background. The orange sky gives a warm, welcoming feel to the viewer while the sharp lines and white color gives a cool, crisp feel. A contrast that is attractive to travelers.
